SouthLand Constructors completed this 2,400 square foot phased interior and exterior renovation for Holiday Inn in 2018. Our team collaborated on this Design Build Project with Supportive Design. The scope of work included demolishing all existing finishes in the lobby, business center, bar, restaurant, first-floor hallways, front canopy, and front entryway. We installed new tile flooring, wall covering, bar casework, architectural soffits, lighting, reception desk casework, business center, as well as carpeting in the restaurant area. The exterior renovation included a new stamped concrete entryway, new aluminum canopies for each of the first-floor windows, new paint for the exterior EIFS, and we wrapped the front canopy with a composite wood material.
This project was successfully completed while the hotel remained open for business. SouthLand ensured the best plan of action for the project through the preconstruction process as well as weekly on-site meetings with subcontractors and hotel managers. Each phase of the project was scheduled around all major hotel events and work in those areas was partitioned off with plastic screen walls to ensure safety and cleanliness.
